How to make Ulu Hye's

Plant Based Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse made plant based. What a treat!

We are in love with this recipe because it is SO quick and easy to make. It’s free from dairy, refined sugar and nuts!

This plant based chocolate mousse will take no more than 10 minutes to make, and just an hour in the fridge to cool.

This recipe is:
Dairy free
Refined sugar free
high in protein
low in fat
An extremely light dessert

You can use any melting chocolate, but we love using Loving Earth chocolate for this recipe


  • 300g Silken Tofu
  • 90 melting chocolate
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cacao
  • splash of nut milk (made using our Nut Mylk Base)



Melt the chocolate on a double boiler and set aside to cool a little

Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth and creamy

Pour into bowls or jars. Little tip: our Mylk Base jars are the perfect size for reuse

Refrigerate for an hour or so to cool

Grate a little chocolate on top and enjoy!
