Detoxing Green Smoothie

There is something so calming and nourishing about starting your day wiht a big ol’ detoxing green smoothie. You just know you’re doing your body good by getting in the green stuff early on and it sets your day up perfectly. What’s even better? A delicious tasting detoxing green smoothie.

This smoothie is energy boosting, blood sugar regulating, alkalising, detoxifying and delicious. The kale makes this high in protein, high in dietary fibre and low in calories, whilst rating high in vitamin C, A, K and antioxidants. Kale also registers a high level of chlorophyll therefore an excellent detox food. Banana is high in potassium and manganese. Manganese helps encourage wound-healing and may be important in conjunction with other minerals for bone health.   • 1 banana
  • 1/4 zucchini
  • handful kale
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder of your choice
  • 250ml nut milk (made from any of our Mylk Base flavours). Tip: blend your milk the night before so it thickens up overnight.
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: 1 tbs rice malt syrup for a sweeter smoothie



Place all ingredients into your blender and blend!
