How to make Ulu Hye's

Black Forest Smoothie Bowl

We created this black forest smoothie bowl because, breakfast is our all time favourite meal. We’re giving ourselves double points for turning dessert into breakfast whilst still being healthy!

I stumbled upon something new in my local IGA in Mullumbimby – frozen sour cherries. OMG. I had to buy them and create something with them.

Smoothies and smoothie bowls are life. How I haven’t gotten sick of them is beyond me. Perhaps because the flavour options are limitless! Adding protein is a must to ensure I’m getting good levels but, more importantly, helping stabilise those blood sugars.

We got all of our toppings from The Source Bulk Foods. You’ve a hundred and one options for toppings.

Wondering where that delightful spoon is from? From us! Check out our decorative spoon range, here.

Choc-cherry is just a divine combination, isn’t it? We hope you enjoy this one. We sure did 🙂
